Love Injection welcomes back Hyanna! Brazilian-born Hyanna has lived in NYC since she was 19 years old, sharpening her ear for music on the streets of the city and its underground dance floors. Her lifelong affection for music, dancing and their past and present subcultures coalesced into her work as a DJ, record store clerk, events curator and sound system tech. Hyanna’s sets express a range of emotions across dance genres, like jazz, disco, funk, soul, world and beyond. Her style of music presentation stirs collective feeling by selecting moods defined by instrumentality, arrangements and messaging.
